Being a Month Behind

Participating in such amazing language immersion programs required all participants to release contact with the outside world. This means no social media, music, news,  or television. It's amazing how much information we constantly subconciously intake through media. As I return home from my 6 week hiatus , my mind is overwhelmed with "new" political news,  new songs that have been released, and new movies that had already hit theaters. This experience has really showed me that the world went on before I got here and will more than likely continue to go on after I leave. With that being said, I'm definately going to continue to make the most of the time that I have here.
